Small Beginnings
Bread of life began in the fall of 1991 at Living Word Outreach. In 1992 over 6,000 people were fed from a small meeting room in the church. By 1994 over 21,000 people were asking for assistance which generated the need for a larger facility. In 1995 we began to feed and clothe from our brand new warehouse built at 2825 S Hillside. the last year of the millennium brought over 66,000 people to our doors seeking help.
Bread of Life is currently open on Tuesday, feeding and clothing an average of 750 people a week. Bread of Life is also in the process of building a new facility to expand and accommodate the increasing numbers of people in need.
The program requires up to 30 volunteers to procure, break-down, counsel and distribute food and clothing supplies.
The growth of this program remains constant because of three people groups:

- Single Parent Families
